HollyHood Affairs: Turnt Up Ent. Takeover

Hollywood is the place to be for parties on this Halloween weekend, just like any other. The only difference between the past and the present is all new talent.

Imagine a live crew of lyricists who are full of energy,  has great group dynamics, a nice sound, banging beats, and a show intended to incite living life to the fullest. Now multiply that by ten and you've got Turnt Up Entertainment. Consisting mainly of LyricX, I. Wood, Ace, Mike-Check, and B. Guttah fresh out of the 'Wood, Turnt Up Ent. has grown into a family of well-versed individuals ready to get SoCal 'turnt up'!

Phressh Buzz had the opportunity to catch T.U. Ent. live in concert last night at the G-Club, where A Haunted Hip Hop Affair was hosted by JS Global Entertainment. Also in concert that evening was Conex, Duece7 and Miss Naya Bugati, with memorable performances. Even with the ever-thinning crowd of twenty-somethings rooting for their acts, Hype Man J and others from Turnt Up Entertainment kept the crowd up and moving for most of the night. In the words of LyricX, the president of the group, "If it ain't Turnt Up Ent. the it's turned down!"

Despite the talents preceding them, T.U. Ent. attacked the stage and delivered an awesome twenty minute set. Fans new and old crowded around the stage with cameras, phones and dance moves. After the smooth lyrics from Mike-Check in the first song "Swagga On Animal", Lethal Weaponz burned the stage with their anthem "Turnt Up". Everybody got love on the stage, including Ace-No Samples, the mastermind behind the engineering. The Lethal Weaponz single "Gon' B Naked" included an intro in which the rap stars and the crowd cheered "Ace! Ace! No Samples!"  repeatedly. Crowd control was on high and the energy in the club was knocked up a few notches during their entire performance. "That s**t was fly," says Hype Man J.

While other rappers decided to freestyle or rhyme a capella , Turnt Up Ent decided to try something new...like a new track. Just hours before their performance at the G Club, the group had been in a recording session laying down two new songs, one of which was performed.

"It was FIRE watching people liking, dancing to and feeling a song that's only hours old," laughs I.Wood, the other half of Lethal Weaponz. "That was a world premier!"

By the end of the performance, which was raved to be "great, professional and well performed", Turnt Up Entertainment took over the G Club by getting the party started and keeping it going for as long as they stayed. It's obvious they are ready for the world but is the world ready for them??

Is Atlanic Records Trying to Take Lupe's Shine?

Fans are less than satisfied with Atlantic Records' promise that "Lasers is coming soon". Since July the We Want Lasers Petition has grown to just over 30,000 signatures, in an effort to persuade Atlantic executives to release the long awaited album from Lupe Fiasco featuring the hit single "Beamin". In addition to the thousands of fans signing the online petition, they have planned a protest against Atlantic Records, giving a whole new meaning to 'popular demand'. This Fiasco Friday is intended to be a massive demonstration demanding the rappers album to be released by October 15. Even uniforms of black tees, black shoes/boots, black shades and camouflage pants will be worn by the Chicago rapper's supporters. In appreciation for his fans, Lupe has hinted at his possible appearance at the Fiasco Friday, which will take place in front of the Atlantic Records building in New York.

He posted the following on Twitter:

Fans will meet at the statue of William Tecumseh Sherman at 59th and 5th and will then march down to Atlantic's offices on 1290 Avenue of the Americas.

$laughda Muzik Ent's Midas Touch

JLz, a member of $laughda Muzik Entertainment group, seems to be an a lucky charm for the group. As a triple threat, JLz is a singer/songwriter, rapper and poet. Between shows, social networking and YouTube videos, the aspiring singer has generated some buzz about $laughda Muzik Ent.

Coming out of Long Beach, JLz is not only a very talented 'girl next door', she's also very successful. Her success as a singer is growing exponentially while her personal success in life is the same. Despite a rough start in her beginnings in Lynwood, JLz has been able to shine her starlight throughout what she calls a "struggling situation". Even though she loves animals, JLz had her eyes on a more lucrative career in medicine. She enrolled herself into United Education Institute (UEI) to become a Medical Assistant at only 19 years of age. She is currently a 2010 UEI graduate finishing with a 3.38 GPA and perfect attendance.  JLz will be really busy balancing both her music and her career, but she has decided to continue her studies.

Although she has her hands full with her new career in medicine, she still has time to entertain her fans and make new ones out of all who listen. "My dream is to be famous one day, but not for the money," says JLz. She wants "to give HOPE and a clear vision to those around the world with situations like mine." JLz urges people to 'believe and dream big'. Certainly this advice has done JLz some good. Many suspect that $laughda Muzik Ent. has made a wise choice in adding JLz to the group; stardom seems inevitable.

50Cent and Oprah the Dog 9/20/2010
Rapper 50Cent seems to have taken the pain out of Twitter. Between following up on T.I. and Tiny's case, promoting LaLa's full court wedding and settling rumors about him trash-talking Usher and Justin Bieber (I just got off the phone [with] usher and justin little ass holes he knows i didn't say anything about him. So tweet your little hearts out) he's still making music with hit producer Swizz Beats and maintaining an interesting social network life. Just for laughs, and probably a little more harmless trouble, 50 has posted pictures of toddler boys in front of risque photos of women and making adult gestures, angering Tweeters to whom he warns "for the last time if u aint 18 quit following me. This adult entertainment!"

In a recent post, 50 shows a Twit Pic of him and his dog Oprah Winfrey. After a post about buying a chinchilla comforter he jokes: "I broke her leg cause the peta people threw paint on m coat. Fuck that!" Followers of the rapper will see his dog's Twitter posts in response to the leg incident....yes, OprahTheDog has a Twitter: "he expects me to jump through hoops for a treat! sit..lay down...get my shoes..roll over.. play dead .. Mashonda dishes about Swizz Beat's infidelity and new marriage

Swizz Beatz's ex-wife, Mashonda, takes to a magazine to expose the details of Swizz and Alicia Keys' relationship.

Super producer Swizz Beatz's ex-wife Mashonda Tifere recently took to the pages of Sister 2 Sister Magazine to air out some of Swizz and wife Alicia Keys' family business. Mashonda told the magazine that Swizz and Keys' relationship began right after the birth of their son while she was still married to the producer. She didn't hesitate to add the one reason she continues to talk about the issue: she hopes to assist other women in the same situation and help to deal with infidelity in a more positive manner than she was able to.

"We were married," she said. "Sleeping in the same bed and having sex every night while he was seeing Alicia. Okay? It was an affair. 100 percent. I don’t know why people want to change that rule so much. We had just had a kid, for crying out loud. Our child was 8 months. I found out about Alicia two days before my son turned 1. They had been doing their thing for months before that."

She added that, "People ask me why am I still talking about this and why don’t I just leave it alone. I’m like, this is going to help somebody. My story is a universal thing. This is not just something that only happened to me; this happens to women every day. Mine was just ugly. If I can help the next woman get through and be positive, then I’m going to talk about it."
Mashonda, Swizz Beat's ex-wife

Mashonda also said that Keys has been asking her son and Swizz's other child from prior relationships to call her "umi," which is "mommy" in Arabic. Mashonda says that she has no problem with Keys wanting to act as a step-mother to her son, but she feels that having him call her by that name could be unfair and confusing to the child. She also says that he has emailed Keys about the issue, but Keys has yet to respond.

"My son told me [that she told him to call her 'umi']," she explained. "I sent [Keys] an email and asked her to please respect what I am to him and it’s not right for her to think that is okay. She never replied. She doesn’t reply to me. She has never given me that respect...It is so unfair to the child.

Mashonda went on to compare Keys with the mother of Swizz's daughter who she claims acknowledges her, unlike Keys. Mashonda explained how Keys was fully aware of Swizz's marriage to MAshonda but continued to see him. "Swizz introduced me at prior events", says Mashonda. "They were signed to the same record company. She knew. And I emailed her and asked her to stop doing what she was doing and she disregarded me. Just like she disregarded me when I asked her to not have my son thinking it was okay to call her 'umi.'You’re not his umi. You just met my son."

Russell Simmons Sports His Lawsuit

Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons has filed a $55 million breach of contract lawsuit over his "American Classics By Russell Simmons" and "Russell Simmons Argyleculture" clothing brands.

According to Simmons, this is the first lawsuit he has ever had to file against a partner.

He claims Hong Kong-based apparel licensing company Li & Fung, USA was supposed to help the mogul market and distribute his flagship Argyleculture brand. Simmons states that Li & Fung USA "expressed a false enthusiasm" for his flagship brand in order to persuade the mogul into licensing them his mass market brand, American Classics by Russell Simmons.

"Almost 20 years ago I pioneered a space that enabled an entire generation of minority designers and entrepreneurs to redefine the landscape of fashion," Simmons said of the lawsuit. "Similarly today, there is an enormous void in the market to fulfill the aspirations of the Urban Graduate, who has grown out of this urban fashion trend but isn't represented by the mainstream brands…"

Simmons, after  reportedly waiting two years, Li & Fung USA failed to execute and offered no development or support for either of the brands, which brought about the legal maneuver.

"I have taken this action to protect my partnerships with retailers and recover millions in damages on behalf of my brands and to protect my name and reputation in the industry," Simmons said. "Over the last 30 years and with the help of numerous partners, I've built successful groundbreaking businesses in music, apparel, television, film, jewelry, games and multiple charities and causes. Not once have I ever had to file a lawsuit. For the first time in my career I found myself with a partner in Li & Fung, which had executives who willfully and repeatedly put the integrity of my brands at risk."

Palestinian Hip-Hop Artist Harassed At Airport

Saturday, September 4, 2010, in Ben Gurion Airport, Israel British-born Palestinian Hip Hop artist, Shadia Mansour was surrounded by airport security and "intelligence officers" armed with guns.

Ms. Mansour was told to return to her luggage after the usual baggage xray and multiple searches, when eight agents ran towards her, weapons drawn and pointed. As they aggressively kicked away her bags they surrounded her, with each of their guns pointed. Ms. Mansour was forced to stand in the same position for one hour in suspicion of a bomb being planted in her microphone which they had already had in their possession.

Ms. Mansour assured the agents the microphone was used for recording music and was then asked by an officer to sing her lyrics to him. The agents continued the "protocol" by asking who she worked for, who bought the microphone, and what does she sing about. Ms. Mansour was told, "We have found something planted in the microphone." All of this happened in front of bystanders in the airport.

Although standard for Palestinians to be strip searched upon departure of Israel, Ms Mansour was forced to lay down on her back as female agents aggressively searched her. Once the search was complete and fruitless, her the microphone was returned and Ms. Mansour was directed to her flight en route to London.

Ms. Mansour stated, "For a few minutes I really thought they were going to take my life, the way they handled the situation literally made me feel like I was an attempted suicide bomber that had just been captured or something". No legal action has yet been taken.

Willow Smith - Lil' Rhi-Rhi

Willow Smith is on her grown-up status with her new track “Whip My Hair.” Willkow's introduction to the music scene is a chic, club hit encouraging her fellow gals to snap their heads back and forth and to brush the haters off. Rhianna may be her fashion idol, but her sound initially is comparable to the icon herself. Despite this, the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith shows that she has style may have what it takes to rumble with the big girls—and her diamond swagger hasn’t gone unnoticed.

She’s already received a co-sign from Solange Knowles, known for her own experimental hairstyles.

“WIllow Smith make me wanna whip some haiiirrr in this house. Ummm kill em girl. Kill em!” she tweeted.

Big Bad 40 bka 40 Glocc Claims Crip Connections Are for Show

Rapper 40 Glocc has officially been banned from the Arbor Terrace Apartments in Colton, California.

The G-Unit affiliate testified in court in May, where he denied promoting gang activity or being a member of the Colton City Crips, which allegedly operates in "The Zoo", better known as the Arbor Terrace Apartments. The rapper argued his connection to the Colton City Crips was just for show.

The District Attorney's office claimed that crime increased in the area whenever 40 Glocc was present, because he was a "senior member of the gang who has been a rap star." The court agreed with three police officers who testified White was a gang member and loitered with other members as they packaged and sold drugs at the Apartments. Apparently, police officers investigated the rapper's influence on the area prior to the arrest.

In May, the rapper released a single and video titled “F**k The Police,” in response to the injunction, which was originally filed in 2008. 40 Glocc called out Colton police Cpl. Shawn McFarland and Colton police Sgt. Eric Miller by name on the track.

40 Glocc has repeatedly denied participating in gang activity and has stated that his videos are only meant for entertainment, in spite of the real life run-ins or disputes with rappers like Lil Wayne, Game and Plies.

T.I. and Tiny face conviction for possession

Will the popular newlyweds T.I. and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle spend the first year of marriage behind bars?

Police confirmed they found ecstasy on rapper T.I. when he was stopped in Los Angeles Wednesday, September 2.

After making an illegal U-turn on the Sunset Strip, T.I. was pulled over by the police, who said they found several pills directly on the rapper and his wife.

No drugs were found in the Maybch T.I. was driving according to police.

T.I. is currently in Atlanta, where he is expected to meet with his probation officer and the judge who sentenced him to a year in prison, for attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers prior to the BET Awards in 2007. His probation does not allow him to using or possessing illegal substances. It even rules against associating with anyone engaged in criminal activity.

Many in the hip hop world say that only Tiny should take the rap for him, which is more than likely just fans wanting to keep T.I. out of jail and out of trouble. Even 50 Cent has some questionable advice for the couple, delivered via Twitter. "Man TI and tiny done got picked up agin for methamphetamines and ecstacy," he wrote. "Dam manTiny gotta take that charge. Say it was yoursBaby."

T.I. and Tiny have been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

They were released early Thursday morning on $10,000 bail each. If convicted, both face up to a year in state prison.

'Takers' Killed 'The Last Exorcism'

The real numbers are in and Takers has the highest-grossing film for the weekend ending August 29.

Takers took in an amazing $20.5 million from the box office, beating it’s rival, The Last Exorcism, by just a little less than $200,000.

The independently-produced crime drama originally drew attention for its diverse ensemble cast, including movie veteran Matt Dillon, franchise stars Paul Walker, Hayden Christensen, and recent award-winners Idris Elba and Zoe Saldana. Takers also stars singer Chris Brown and rapper T.I. in their second and third major film roles.

Both artists also served as executive producers for the project, which was produced by Rainforest Films and T.I's Grand Hustle Films.

Box office estimates originally had Exorcist leading the weekend by $300,000 over Takers, bringing in $21.3 million. The numbers were close, but Takers, which went into theaters as the weekend’s underdog, came out on top. Rainforest Films co-founder Will Packer stated: “Hollywood expected us to do closer to $10 million since we were smaller and on far less screens.”

The cast, particularly Idris Elba, T.I. and Chris Brown, thanks all their Twitter followers, as they created a campaign where followers were encouraged to post pictures and tweets about the film.
 LOOKOUT!:  According to Variety, T.I.’s second Screen Gems offering will be a drama titled Boulevard, which was being developed at the time the agreement was signed.

Suge and Kanye Feud Over $1mil Lawsuit

According to Marc Brumer, former Death Row Records CEO Marion "Suge" Knight's attorney, Suge and Kanye West feuded over Knight's allegations that West is responsible for injuries he received after he was shot at the VMA party West hosted at The Shore Club, in 2005.

In addition to being shot in the leg during the celebrity event, Knight claims he lost a diamond earring valued at $135k.

The Associated Press reports that the latest meeting took place yesterday (August 26th) in Miami, with Knight present and West attending by telephone. Brumer's report is that it ended fruitlessly. Knight's lawsuit claims West is responsible for his injuries because there was allegedly not enough security at the event.

This is the second attempt to reach a settlement over the dispute. The pair met in a lawyer's office in New York in June, but an agreement could not be reached.

According to Brumer, the case will most likely go to trial.

Mock Funeral Procession Protests Gun Violence In NY

Harlem, New York rapper Jim Jones joins Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons during the "Tsunami of Peace: Ride, Walk & Rally Against Violence" this week. They will be joined by rappers Juelz Santana, Fat Joe, Maino, Salt and former New York Giant Michael Strahan during the rally, which takes place in all five of New York's boroughs.

In response to the rise of gun violence throughout New York this summer, the event is being produced by longtime community activists Erica Ford (Life Camp), A.T. Mitchell (Man Up Inc.), Rev. Vernon Williams (Harlem Clergy, Community Leader's Coalition) and Gloria Cruz (Million Mom March).

"The organizers of the Tsunami of Peace rally are here to promote a culture of peace, instead." says Ford. "In addition to the mentoring, the educational programs and the training of young people that we do every single day, we are gathering to say that more needs to be done by all sectors of the society, including all elected officials, parents, students, neighbors…everyone. No one has all the answers, but together we can solve this problem."

The organizers of the rally plan to stage a funeral procession in all five boroughs. Hertz vehicles will assemble in each borough at 10:00 AM. The vehicles, donated by dozens of local funeral homes, will meet at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge at noon. From there, activists will walk over the bridge into Manhattan to peacefully congregate at City Hall Park located on Chambers and Center street.

In Queens, the Hertz vehicles will assemble on Guy R. Brewer & Baisley Boulevard. In Brooklyn activists will gather at Thomas Boyland & Atlantic Avenue. In Staten Island, the procession will leave from Jersey Street & Richmond and in the Bronx activists will leave from 156th Street and Morris Ave and in Harlem. The vehicles will leave from 12th Avenue and 125th Street.

The Peace Walk and Ride over the Brooklyn Bridge will take place at 12PM and the Peace Rally in Manhattan will kick off at 1PM.

"We cannot accept the constant violence and death in our communities as the norm," said Russell Simmons, CEO of Rush Communications. "Time to stand up."

What's the word on the street with celebrity fails?? Let's review to top five of the week:

5. Rhianna- Queen of pop sports a striped see-through shirt. The problem? She's not wearing a bra! TMI, Rhi-Rhi. FASHION FAIL!

4. Gavin Marchand - You can find Foxy Brown's brother in prison for the next five years with 3 of his buddies for credit card theft and stealing Hermes purses. If you wanted a purse, you should've asked your sister! UNNECESSARY FAIL!

3. Earl Watson - Wife of the NBA star, Jennifer Freeman, known as Claire on My Wife and Kids, must of been fed up with his alleged cheating that recently was rumored to end up in pregnancy. In retaliation, little ol' Jen bit him twice and attack him with an iron like a madwoman. Now he wants to 'work things out'. SERIOUS MARITAL FAIL!

2. Trina - She may have an @$!* big as the sun but we now know her mouth can compete. Photos were released of the female rapper showing her head game on her diamond-crusted mic. Showing off her tongue skills fo' sho'! SEXY FAIL!

1. Usain Bolt - Right before his Stockholm track meet, Usain experienced a serious back injury, preventing him from running for the entire year...due to EXTREME FREAKINESS! Girlfriend and reality star from College Hill, Milan, must've worked him a little bit too hard. SUPER FAIL!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So I’m sitting amongst the old heads listening to their wisdom. “Women always have something going on.” “Men don’t communicate properly.” On the horrible truths of the sexes was what these two men and women rapped about in a circle. They were sharing life lessons of sorts in a circle of which I was part of.
As I listened, I heard some truths and I heard some fallacies. I processed the information and decided to speak. “Well, women do have something going on and no, guys don’t know how to communicate clearly.” Soon, I recognized the mistake I had made. Like a magnet, the old heads hounded on me and the surface of my philosophies by asking what turned out to be a very belittling question: How old are you?
Generally, this question is the first step to admiring my accomplishments or recognizance of my vast intellect. I wasn’t prepared for my answer to be a validation for how much naïveté I possessed.
By this time, I knew that mentioning my upcoming birthday would mean nothing to my experienced peers. I was already being placed at the bottom of the barrel. I knew my over-grown brain (ignore the hyperbole) and the wisdom I had put in it wouldn’t be noticed and slowly, I slinked back, away from the “knowledge” they were trying to teach me. With every fact of life being followed by a stab at how young I am and blatant disregards for my life experiences, I was pushed out of focus, away from the conversation, an outcast of the main event.
As I waved my metaphoric white flag of silence, Hip Hop slipped into my mind. I welcomed the thought, similar to how warm buttered biscuits and bacon was welcome to my stomach. Hip Hop, just the thought of it, could be likened to a warmth only felt when at home. It was peaceful. While watching the old heads like a window shopper gazing in the window, I realized how Hip Hop was as much of a “baby” as I was. Maybe Hip Hop and I are something like each other.
I haven’t been acquainted well enough to know Hip Hop like some and yet, with it I feel connected. A twenty-something in the world, Hip Hop is simply doing what it takes to survive, be loved, noticed and appreciated. In the beginning, Hip Hop was new, black and full of life. Youth was a good look for it, it was so innocent. As it grew up consciously, no one could match this outlet. An easier life, knowledge, love and passion were the keys to good music and great Hip Hop.
Many friends and lovers have come and gone and loved and hated, building upon the foundation that rooted Hip Hop and cultured it to be what it is today. Despite the support, Hip Hop has become a glorified project. A project with busted windows, rusted play grounds, squeaky doors, water stains on the ceiling and aging wall paper. The floors are old, the stairs are weak and its perimeter is covered in vandalism and piss. The creators, founders and keepers of this project are mostly gone and the others are either misusing it or neglecting it. A new top coat of paint can only fool us for so long and right now in 2010, we’re starting to see that paint chip.
Despite the cosmetics of Hip Hop today, the foundation is still there, ready to endure its reconstruction. Hip Hop, despite common belief, is not dead and nor is it dying. If it were dying, then its death would be metaphorical to signify the change it is experiencing. The bottom line? Hip Hop is ready to be reborn. After being broken down b y deadly rivals, the gangster image, corporate conspiracy and even the wave of the new technology, 2010 calls for a revamp in the way Hip Hop is managed.
Such is the life of a twenty-something. We are raised under our parents’ management and after that, we’re explicitly under the authority of ourselves and the law. Remembering our first lessons strengthens our roots, but with time, change is bound to come and with it we must go.
I sit back and shake my head.
Those old heads know some things but of all the things they know, I am not one of them. Is Hip Hop? Maybe not. Studying its history is healthy, but going back to basics is only so that we can learn from it. What have we got now with Hip Hop but a neglected project? If we continue to do what we’ve always done, using the same methods, traditions and styles, we’ll get the same results. We’re young, but we should not be underestimated. Despite our naïveté, we can still teach lessons to the masses, young and old.
EXCLUSIVE: EXTENDED INTERVIEW- Young Boskoe 1- July 2010
Young Boskoe 1, representing Inglewood, California interviewed exclusively with Phressh Buzz Magazine to discuss beefing in the rap game and about his problem with Big Bad 40, formerly known as 40 Glocc.
Phressh Buzz Magazine: So tell us, what are you all about?
Young Boskoe 1: I’m all about money, man. I’m all about my hood. I’m about makin’ it, being successful, you feel me? I’m about life.
PBM: You have this beef with 40 Glocc. How does he go against what you’re about?
YB1: I mean, I wouldn’t really call it a beef. It’s just an issue I got with him. Me being a rapper, I just pretty much got at him on wax because that’s the way I felt I was going to be heard. He just be doin’ too much, man. For the man to supposedly be a real n*a out here on the streets and call himself campaigning against fake n*as he don’t even realize he’s disrespecting the REAL n*as at the same time. I’m personally gonna speak on it.
PBM: You were talking also about industry Bloods and everything. Why do you think local rappers who make it big lose their ability to keep it real in the streets they come from?
YB1: From my observation, just from being a real n*a out here, looking at the game from the outside, most of the time you don’t even have time. People in the hood like to call you fake as soon as you change your program A lot of n*as gotta duck what n*as say. You just gotta know that people are going to have problems with you. Just keep doing you. At the same time though, a lot of these n*as in the industry was fake n*as anyway.
PBM: So why is it so important to keep it 100 in the streets?
YB1: These are your fans. These are the people that you want buying your music. If you ain’t in tune with the streets, then what are you doing? Who are you representing?
It’s like this n*a 40 Glocc. This n*a from IE but [he’s] running around and every time I see [him] in a video [he] got on a blue LA hat or a P hat. People want to get really technical about this. N*s are really pushing the wrong issue. Instead of focusing on their own shit, n*as always worried about what the next man is doing, N8as just need to mind their own f*ing business to me.
PBM: So understanding that you have a lot of nosy rappers going around, what impression do you think that puts on up and coming gangsta rappers who look up to these people?
YB1: They’re making it bad for people coming up ‘cause it’s so many fakes around here, that n*as are scared when real n*as come around. We already got a certain reputation. I’m one of the coolest and intelligent m*f*r you’ll know, but if you judge a book by its cover you would think I was coming to rob you, you feel me? Gangsters already have a certain image, but at the same time, they need to learn how to separate the bulls*t from the business.
PBM: Ok, ok, well one last question. It’s a fun fact. We just heard that 40 Glocc is changing his name to Big Bad 40. What do you think about that?
YB1: That’s gay as f*k.. What [is he] doing out here that made [him] big and bad? ‘Cause [he] took Tyga’s [chain]? That sh*t is just weak to me. He ain’t did nothing solid.
I’m not trying to f*k with him just because I’m trying to build my career or no sh*t like that. I’m a real Blood out here in the streets and I feel talked to so I’m answering to the demands of the streets.
